Barcelona Bus Turístic timetable
Running 09:00 – 19:00, every day of the year bar two. That closing time is what wrecks most plans: at seven it stops, and if you were counting on it to get back to the hotel, you are taking the metro.
| Hours | 09:00 – 19:00 |
| Last departure | 19:00 from Plaça de Catalunya |
| Frequency | every 10–25 minutes |
| Full loop | about 2 hours per route |
| No service | 1 January and 25 December |
| Routes | Red Route and Blue Route |
Fitting it into a day
With ten hours of service and a 2-hour loop, the realistic plan is: one route, three or four proper stops, and back on the bus before six so you are not stranded at the last stop.
Starting at nine in Plaça de Catalunya uses the whole day and dodges the mid-morning queues, which get long at the terminus in high season.
The frequency varies far more than the range suggests.
10 minutes is summer at peak; 25 is winter late in the day. If you are travelling between November and March, plan on the higher number: a twenty-five-minute wait at a cold stop changes the experience of a 29,70 € ticket quite a lot.

It runs 09:00 – 19:00. The last departure is at 19:00 from Plaça de Catalunya.
How often does it come?
Every 10 to 25 minutes depending on season and time of day. In winter and late in the day, waits run closer to the upper figure.
Does it run every day?
Yes, except 1 January and 25 December.
How long is a full loop?
About 2 hours per route without getting off. With stops, allow the whole day.
